New Mexico

The New Mexico capitol building was beautiful. It’s a big round building that was very simple on the outside. On the inside it’s an art museum, as well as a functioning capitol building. There were very modern, plush chambers for both the House and Senate, complete with luxury suites for visitor’s to watch the proceedings from. The building is home to the Capitol Art Foundation which exhibits art that reflects the heritage of New Mexico. Unfortunately, this was our last stop and I was a little more ready to start the journey home rather than investigate more. My apologies, New Mexico.
