Maryland

After crossing the famous Chesapeake Bay Bridge, we arrived at our final destination on the trip. We parked illegally and approached the building expecting to get in and out quickly, but the full body cavity search slowed us down. There was a tour already in progress, so we kind of attached ourselves to the group. The tour guide was dressed in full 1776 style garb, but spared us any further shtick. We clicked a few photos of both the House and Senate chambers, and then decided that getting crab cakes was bigger priority. On the way out of the building, we asked the security guard if there was a place to get good crab cakes nearby. The guard responded “yes”, with no further explanation. Thank you for your help, sir. We were able to find the local marina, and dine on delicious crab cakes before heading out for the airport. It was the perfect end to a wonderful adventure.
