Trip 3

Trip 3 Route

I was looking forward to this trip the most. I had never been to many of these states. My close friend Chris was my co-pilot for this adventure, and I would still be driving around a traffic circle if he wasn’t with me. I suppose the natives are used to how things are labeled, but we had some difficulty. We traveled over 2000 miles on this trip, and at least 500 was back tracking. Still, we had a lot of fun, and had some great food. Some trip highlights include:

  • Driving in Pennsylvania fog
  • Highway 11 adventures
  • Baseball Hall of Fame
  • Vermont closing at 9pm
  • Maple syrup lessons
  • Lobster rolls
  • Real Clam Chowder
  • The drunk girl looking for directions in Boston (I hope she is okay)
  • Driving in all “Five Boroughs” in New York City
  • Chris still not being able to see the statue of Liberty
  • Maryland crab cakes

After a rough start, we finally got on track and had a great trip. Thanks again to Chris for his patience and his ability to navigate google maps on an iphone.
